Summary:


Responsible for identification of needs and delivery of services to patients who require speech therapy intervention in accordance with all state and federal regulations.

Collaborates with center staff to promote the highest possible physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being for the patients

Responsibilities:

Job Specific Duties o Screens, evaluates, and develops programs for implementation for all patients as needed. o Develops effective speech therapy treatment plans and goals to meet each patient's needs. o Collaborates and communicates effectively with other center team members to ensure optimal patient care and progress. o Prioritizes responsibilities to ensure effective clinical operations. Demonstrates ability and willingness to attain productivity benchmark. o Completes documentation and billing in a timely and accurate manner. o Ensures MD orders are obtained according to company policy and procedures.

o Willingly accepts the supervision of Speech Language Pathology students as requested according to state, federal, and Speech Language Pathology Practice Act guidelines.

o Reports all instances of abuse, neglect, or other concerns to management. o Attends and participates in orientation, training, in-service education, and staff meetings. Ensures all mandatory training is completed on time. o Performs other duties as may be assigned by appropriate MFNC management. Business Systems and Operations o Complies with pertinent laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Complies with ASHA code of ethics and State Practice Act. o Performs duties in accordance with the Corporate Compliance Program. o Takes an active role in the center's safety and health programs. o Is supportive of the state survey process, responding in an appropriate and timely manner. Job

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED

Licensure:
Speech Language Pathologists will be actively pursuing or hold an active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) credential as awarded by the American Speech and Hearing Association

Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills

Estimated Salary:
$20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
