Our client is a well-known private label company that focuses on designing for various categories/brands. They require a Perm Women's Dress Designer to join their team.

SALARY/HOURLY RATE:
$100k – $110k Depending on experience

POSITION OVERVIEW:


For this exciting Perm Women's Dress Designer role, the team is looking for someone with extensive experience designing Women's Dresses to join their team.

Experience in technical packages, Dresses, Woven's, and Cut & Sew Knits is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PERM WOMEN'S DRESS DESIGNER:
Design the Women's Dress line from beginning through production, and has strong technical design skills
Create color cads, sketch detailed flats on the computer, spec garments, and design presentation boards
Sketch detailed flats, and spec garments, and create specs

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE PERM WOMEN'S DRESS DESIGNER:
Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop
Strong Design experience
Must have 5 years plus of extensive experience in designing Women's Dresses
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong verbal and communication skills. Must be able to communicate with vendors

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree is required
