Harrisburg Academy, an independent preschool through grade 12 located in Wormleysburg, Pennsylvania, seeks a personable, organized, and results-oriented individual. The Education Technology Manager must be a self-starter who is willing to work both independently and collaborate as a part of a team when necessary. This position is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate with studies in technology.

This position is a full-time, 12-month staff appointment.

  1. Assist in the maintaining of all student achievement data with Blackbaud K-12 Education Management (MyHA), Toddle and ManageBac.
  2. Collaborate with divisional Heads to develop professional learning opportunities related to technology.
  3. Collaborate with instructional staff and International Baccalaureate (IB) Coordinators to develop curriculum materials and specific lesson plans integrating technology.
  4. Implement best practices related to technology use in the Academy based on research and national standards.
  5. Work with teachers and the IB Coordinators to select resources compatible with the school's technology infrastructure.
  6. Assist in identifying new hardware and software needs to support teacher initiative.
  7. Assist with grant-related initiatives related to curriculum and instruction.
  8. Provide technology support for work order tickets.
  9. Maintain current knowledge of new developments and trends in the educational technology field so that innovations and new equipment may be implemented as appropriate.
  10. Collaborate with teachers in classroom settings when introducing new technology
  11. Liaise with the Technology Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree and experience in an educational setting recommended.
  • Proven success in the following job competencies:

  • Problem solving and decision making
