Bangor, Maine, United States Strategic Systems Programs (Ssp) Full time

You will provide legal advice to Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) Headquarters and other SSP field activities and detachments, as requested.

You will provide legal advice in areas of civilian personnel law, ethics and Standards of Conduct, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), and support
agreements.
You will provide legal services in other DON OGC areas of practice, if called upon.
You will provide legal advice in support of administrative investigations and SSP Inspector General investigations.

You will advise clients and represent the command on matters involving employee performance, discipline, union matters, and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).

You will litigate cases before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Merit Systems Protection Board, and other fora.

You will provide legal advice, both written and oral, and communicate with other federal government attorneys and members of the private bar.

You will perform such other duties as assigned by the Counsel, SSP, Deputy Counsel, SSP, and Supervisory Associate Counsel, (Civilian Personnel Law and General Law).
