Job Description

This position is essential in contributing to the success of Lumin Digital by providing legal and business support for contracts with vendors, customers, and partners. This role ensures creating and organizing processes for contracts to increase revenue and provide a positive customer experience. You also will contribute your best ideas to help Legal Department efficiency, productivity, and accuracy.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Coordinate with vendor management as needed to support vendor onboarding and offboarding.

Responsible for management of legal department queue.

Manage administrative aspects of the contract review and approval process, including cataloguing and tracking contracts' status, training on contract templates and contract procedures, maintaining a contract database and recommending policies and procedures to ensure proper & orderly processing of contracts.

Maintain corporate files, including corporate minute books and records, and supporting corporate secretary function for the company.

Assist with quarterly board meeting preparation.

Reconcile legal department expenses and process expense reports to support managing the Legal Department budget.

Review amendments to reseller and client contracts.

Tracks outstanding matters with a focus on continual improvement in cycle times, pro-active communication of status and prompt delivery of work product.

Reviewing client or vendor redlines/ comments/ issues and suggesting alternative language/ responses.

Revising form templates to streamline sales deals.

Working with the Client Experience and Sales teams to support new clients and additional services.

Acting as the point person for the collection of information, feedback and approvals from deal stakeholders (e.g. finance, operations, security, product, etc.) during the contracting process.

Ensure final copies of agreements/documents are saved and stored properly.

Applying Lumin Digital standard legal and business positions in drafting and negotiation.

Assisting with research projects.

Experience

5+ years of experience in the legal field reviewing and redlining a wide variety of contracts with a focus on NDAs, service contracts, and vendor agreements.

5+ years of experience within a corporate legal environment required.

Experience working within a technology service provider or in the financial services sector required.

Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat. Technology savvy for purposes of document review, editing, signing, and communication.

Education

Paralegal Certification required.

Travel required:

Minimal. 1-2 trips per year for Legal Department or Lumin Digital meetings.
