We are actively seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to help accelerate our product roadmap and ensure the delivery of quality tested and innovative features for our customers. Position allows remote work but is encouraged to be in our Knoxville, TN office on a regular basis. Required Skills:

  • Extensive experience with API and web test automation
  • Strong working knowledge of Selenium
  • Proficient in Python or similar languages in a test automation and orchestration capacity
  • Strong experience setting up pipelines with GitHub Actions or similar tools
  • Experience with modern containerization tooling such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Deep understanding and working experience with all QA activities including, but not limited to test planning, unit testing, smoke testing, and regression testing
  • GitOps familiarity for performing source code configuration management using Git-based tools (GitHub) with multiple branches
  • Fluent with Agile Project Management, Scrum processes, and operating in a geographically distributed project environment
  • Experience working in Cloud environments such as AWS or Azure
  • Familiar with SQL Server and queries
  • Self-starter with a track record of meeting commitments
  • Experience working collaboratively with distributed team members

Activities:

  • Contribute to the design, planning and implementation of entire test frameworks that scale
  • Create automated API test coverage
  • Automate web application testing
  • Work with DevOps to enable CI/CD pipelines
  • Integrations with 3rd party software using Python Scripts
  • Self-starter with a passion for continuous learning and personal development
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand compliance and security
  • Assist with feature and bug validation when needed
  • Complete other tasks required by management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Cybersecurity and Compliance
  • Ability to automate the use of Cloud resources to enable test scalability

Education/Training, Qualifications, and Certification:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar technical/engineering degree and 10 years experience, or
  • Minimum of Master's Degree in Computer Science or similar technical/engineering degree and 7 years experience
  • Non-degree - minimum of 15 years experience in IT with QA related certifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills while working well as part of an integrated team
  • Must be a US Citizen and capable of passing a background check and random periodic drug testing
