Responsibilities:
  • Guides and educates staff on Positive Behavior Support methodology
  • Contributes expertise on behavioral matters within Interdisciplinary Teams (IDTs)
  • Develops and oversees Behavior Plans, including assessment, design, training, and reporting
  • Performs behavioral assessments and provides analytical insights on the outcomes
  • Delivers direct behavioral therapy through various approaches like skills training and crisis intervention
  • Participates in behavior issue on-call rotations
  • Tracks restraint utilization and offers training for reduction
  • Monitors and addresses challenging behaviors
  • Engages in relevant committee activities related to behavior intervention and human rights
  • Delivers tailored services to meet the needs of specialty intermediate care clinic patients
  • Adheres to guidelines and procedures

Qualifications:
  • Language Skills: Ability to understand, communicate, and present information effectively
  • Reasoning Ability: Capable of problem-solving and decision-making in various scenarios with attention to detail
  • Independent decision making with sound judgment

Education:
Must hold a Doctoral or Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is mandatory.

Computer Skills/Data Entry:
Proficient in neat, accurate, and objective data recording and entry in compliance with company standards.
