Objective
Assure and optimize the procurement of direct and indirect material for the DRX Group for a commodity, priority is on cost reductions and maintain the highest quality levels, primary contact for specific suppliers.
Principle Activities
- Observe and analyze the applicable procurement markets
- Request, compare and evaluate bids, taking into account price, quality, delivery performance and technology; conduct cost reduction actions according to activity plans and targets set
- Promote new technologies and substitutes, including initiation of approval processes
- Implement supplier management within the commodity as needed, in cooperation with the global lead buyer/ senior buyer, including supplier selection, concluding supplier agreements, conducting supplier evaluations, cooperating in supplier development and supplier audits, escalation of issues as needed to mgmt.
- Cooperate in make or buy analyses and decisions
- Manage the supplier determination process
- Assure the search, evaluation, selection, approval and organization of new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant units
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or equivalent work experience in a procurement field
- Experienced in contract negotiations with suppliers 3-5 years
- Automotive interior components equipment product knowledge
- Strong understanding of the automotive market
- Project management experience 3-5 years
- Knowledge of IATF Standards
- Experienced in risk analysis and problem solving tools
