General Information
Beds: 2 - IR suites; 1 Overflow room
Minimal Experience: 1-2 years of IR experience (required); 2 years (preferred)
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, with at least 2 years experience
Travelers must live 100 miles away from facility
Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler
Patient Types:
Discussed during interview
Required Certifications:
Tech: BLS, ARRT or RCIS
Required Education:
Tech:
ARRT certification or RCIS is required
Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) - preferred; will determine during interview
Skills required:
Tech:
Sterile technique/scrub technique, Siemens machine, EPIC, Circulation for procedures
Comfortability with: Dialysis patient population (Shuntogram, Permacath); Port placement; Drain/Catheter placements; Embolizations
Charting System:
EPIC (required)
Omnicell
Floating: If yes, where?
Yes, may be asked to float to other areas as needed (within or below scope)
Orientation: (facility and unit)
Tech: 5 days (8 hr shifts)
Scheduling:
Shift: variable day shift; discussed during interview
Call:
one weekend every 3 weeks - Fri/Sat/Sun - 24 hr call (Fri 1700-Mon 0700)
one overnight call each week - (1)
Weekend rotation: see above; call only
Holiday Expectations: required; in rotation
Approval of time off? Must go through Manager

Reliable Nurse Staffing Job ID . Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
