This role will be on-site at the Corteva location.

What You'll Do:

  • Troubleshoot audio visual (A/V) systems and conference rooms throughout the Johnston campus.
  • Provide live A/V services in the company's event and conference spaces by ensuring appropriate AV equipment and supplies are available to needs and AV meeting requirements are fulfilled; ensuring equipment operates effectively before or during a meeting.
  • Provide training as needed through providing hands-on instruction of equipment operation, technical advice and/or instruction to speakers/meeting organizers.
  • Research and implement custom A/V solutions for a diverse range of events with other A/V professionals on team.
  • Manage room scheduling devices throughout company global business center and outlining locations including implementation and support of devices.
  • Provide additional/back up support to colleagues as needed to provide ongoing A/V services within the conference center spaces.
  • Assist other Conference Services team members with workflow as needed including conference center sets for meetings/events in conference center spaces and other duties assigned when needed.

Qualifications

Education:

  • You have a high school education/GED.

  • You have a positive attitude and a high level of customer service skills. Experience interacting with a wide variety of personalities and situations; able to manage concerns while maintaining a professional presence.
  • You respect yourself and your team by always being punctual and reliable.
  • You have good working knowledge of the latest technology that is currently available and knowledge of the required maintenance and troubleshooting of the equipment.
  • You are organized, possess good time management skills and can balance multiple tasks and completing priorities at once.
  • You have a valid US driver's license so you are able to drive to perform tasks at various local locations.
  • You are willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to maneuver under tables, climb up and down ladders, and work in tight spaces.
  • You are willing and able to work a primarily daytime Monday through Friday schedule as well as some overtime and weekends as needed to provide support for business after hours events (usually 5-10 events per year).

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • Experience in effective deployment and operation of audiovisual equipment in a business setting. Video and media production, audio visual integration with personal computers, networked AV systems, LAN connection ports, audio systems, and video conferencing (including IP technology devices).
  • Project management experience with the ability to define expectations, monitor details and progress, influence, persuade and negotiate to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
