Our Impact:

SFNTA is key strategic group in SF BTO, that provides application modernization and cloud migration strategy, put technology roadmaps , evaluate and build accelerators & tools to enable modernization of Single Family applications. It partners with Infrastructure teams to improve delivery efficiencies by introducing new technologies, and removing bottlenecks. It improves developer experience and employee satisfaction by providing developer friendly tools, implementation patterns, training and coaching.

Your Impact:

As a technical product owner, own the complete life cycle of a set of SFNTA products. Understand the application teams need, research available technology options in the industry, and

create roadmaps of products/tools/accelerators. Have a keen eye to identify broader problems and create new automation products. In line with product vision and SF needs, align the features, and prioritize them based on the needs, ROI, corporate priorities, and capacity limitation to create an incremental release of features using Agile methodology. Develop and maintain the working relationships, with application teams to educate and influence them in adopting the released products sooner to gain value, and with IT teams to influence them in platform support to build the products. Incorporate metrics collection in the product features to collect feedback on products and improvise continuously.

Contribute to the creation of product features that are thorough and clearly articulatable to team so they build per the vision. For complex products, research and gain knowledge to be able to communicate with team and stakeholders. Understand DevOps automation intricacies to drive team efficiently. Instill quality mindset to the team by demonstrating with own actions.

Supervise a team of developers and product analysts. As a manager, mentor and grow the direct reports. Build and maintain a fast paced delivery team that builds high quality products and provides outstanding support. Create an open minded and collaborative environment for employees to flourish but with clear accountability. Set and manage the objectives to align with department goals. Ensure that agile processes are followed for smooth, efficient and predictable delivery of releases.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in computer science or Information Technology

10+ years of overall experience in Software Development or IT Engineering

2+ years of experience in DevOps and Automation using cloud technologies preferably AWS, Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes/Amazon EKS, etc

3+ years of experience in Application development using Java or JavaScript or any modern language

2+ years of relevant experience as Product Owner.

3+ years of experience in Agile Methodology

3+ years of experience in people manager

Keys to Success in this Role:

Highly motivated and energetic self-starter with solid organizational and time management skills; demonstrable experience operating at high standards of quality and accuracy within a fast-paced changing environment

Excellent communication, leadership and relationship management skills, that enable partnering with and influencing key customers in an open, collaborative environment at all levels in an organization

Technical leadership with knowledge of both legacy and modern cloud based distributed systems

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to succinctly present sophisticated subject matter, specifically translating technology problems/solutions to business partners
