Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities include providing care and supervision for infants and toddlers (children) ages 0 to 4 years of age while working in the church's nursery.

Worker will maintain safe play areas and monitor children's activities to ensure their well-being.
Worker will be responsible for communicating with parents and volunteers, acting as a representative of the church.

A minimum of 3 hours is guaranteed each week, but there are opportunities for more hours if you are available.

Specific Duties:
Arrive on time and remain until all children are safely secured with responsible adult Ensure check-in and check-out process is followed Ensure room(s) are left tidy and trash is removed Comply with Inman Park United Methodist Church's Nursery Guidelines Comply with Inman Park United Methodist Church's Safe Sanctuaries Policy Report incidents to parents and pastor as soon as it is safe to do so Maintain certification in First Aid/CPR training Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Person desires to use creative ways to engage children in organized activities while staying in the nursery and using age appropriate songs, stories, lessons, crafts, etc.

Person will comfort children in an appropriate manner, communicate with parents and is able to handle stressful situations in a calm, gentle manner.
