Job Title: Java Developer
Location: Addison, TX
Contract: 12 to 18 Months
Pay Rate Range: $63 to $68
Client: Financial Client

Required Skills

  • Demonstrable experience of a minimum of 10-15 years of work experience as a developer with at least 5 years of experience as a feature lead/application manager.
  • Works as an Application Manager and as a Feature Lead to manage all the activities around application management and governance.
  • As an App Manager own the responsibility of managing a critical compliance application, working closely with compliance and operations on Regulatory Requirements to provide optimal solutions
  • Strong hands-on experience in UNIX Shell scripting, Autosys creation skills
  • Support other developers by providing mentoring, technical assistance, troubleshooting, and alternative development solutions
  • Perform overall solution design and creation of design specifications to implement changes
  • Perform Functional and technical impact analysis of potential changes to the client's requirements
  • Experience working in Agile teams
  • Experience managing application governance and compliance requirements
  • Experience with solution design and creation of design specifications to implement changes
  • Experience with functional and technical impact analysis of potential changes to the client's requirements
  • Team lead experience, supporting other developers; mentoring, providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, and suggesting alternative development solutions
  • years experience with Java with Strong core Java skills including multi-threading, collections API, JDBC, and knowledge of Java profiling tools
  • Spring framework, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Test Framework, Spring RESTful services, Transaction Management, Spring Annotations.
  • Experience working with relational databases like Oracle 19c, and Microsoft SQL Server (for ISS: Data virtualization solutions like Composite, Teradata, and Hadoop).
  • Knowledge of performance-tuning data-intensive applications
  • Experience with front-end development frameworks like Angular and React.
  • Level of Experience Needed: 10-12 years
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Independent learner with no hand-holding and able to handle production releases in a shared environment
  • Good to have business knowledge in financial domains related to Anti-Money Laundering
  • Effective communication and listening skills
  • Working knowledge of Teradata/Hadoop/Elastic Search databases will be nice to have
  • Experience with migration projects in AML and economic sanctions is a plus.
  • Working experience in Agile methodology and JIRA is preferred
