Works on multiple major projects with complex features as a technical lead. Duties & Responsibilities
As a Sr. Engineer - Mechanical Process Piping with Barge Design Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in leading and contributing to major projects in your specialized discipline or market practice area. Your responsibilities include:
- Designing and documenting technical solutions for a specific discipline or market practice area.
Managing and maintaining project documentation with meticulous attention to detail. - Providing technical leadership on large complex projects and supporting project managers as a technical advisor on potential issues, participates in the research and development of solutions to engineering and other technical challenges.
- Reviewing project documents for conformity and ensuring quality assurance.
- Mentoring junior engineers and reviewing their work for quality purposes.
- Leading complex technical discussions with clients and stakeholders.
- Developing strong relationships with clients, customers, officials, contractors, and other collaborators.
Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred.
- Proficiency in Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, Process Simulations (ChemCAD/ASPEN), Heat and Material Balance (HMB), Physical/Chemical Property Assessment, Process Safety Management (PSM), Equipment Specifications - Data Sheets, Hydraulic Pump Calculations, Air Emission and Waste Generation Estimates, Safety Relief Device, and Vent Piping Calculations.
