Job Summary:
As Senior QA Analyst in Professional Services, you will be integral to the development and execution of manual and automated tests for our enterprise web application products. Working closely with developers and business analyst, you will design and execute tests that cover product customization, complex workflows, and data sets. You will play a crucial role in client communications and overall testing process improvements. Your efforts will ensure comprehensive test coverage and efficiency, contributing to the overall quality and reliability of our solutions.

Location: Atlanta, GA or Remote
Responsibilities:
- Focus on product customization, complex workflows, and diverse data sets to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Work closely with developers and business analysts to understand project requirements and ensure alignment on testing strategies.
- Participate in Scrum meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development and testing processes.
- Develop, design, and execute manual and automated test cases for enterprise web application products.
- Implement and enhance quality practices across our professional services projects/solutions.
- Aim to prevent defects by thoroughly testing customizations, configurations, and upgrades.
- Engage in client communications to understand their specific needs and ensure that the delivered solutions meet their expectations.
- Provide feedback and recommendations based on testing outcomes to improve client satisfaction.
- Assess current testing processes and recommend improvements to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies to ensure the team's testing approach remains cutting-edge.
- Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Analyze test results to identify patterns and areas for improvement.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team.
- Share knowledge and best practices with team members to elevate overall team performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in QA, with a focus on testing enterprise-level software solutions.
Skills/ Knowledge Requirements:Required Skills:
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proven experience in developing and executing manual and automated tests.
- Ability to validate the custom workflows, settings, and data integrations functions correctly within the SaaS environment.
- Proficiency in using JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
- Experience in identifying test data based on Acceptance Criteria and creating data sets for a multiple workflow validation.
- Understanding of data privacy and security considerations, particularly in multi-tenant environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze complex workflows and data sets to develop comprehensive test cases.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with developers, business analysts, and clients.
- Experience in client communications to understand their needs and provide feedback and recommendations.
- Passionate advocate for quality, with a focus on delivering value to customers and stakeholders.
- Strong QA/testing mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and preventing defects.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies to ensure the testing approach remains cutting-edge.
- Experience in coordinating and conducting UAT to ensure the final product meets the business requirements and expectations.
- Familiarity with cloud-based deployments and unique testing challenges associated with SaaS solutions.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with test automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, and Selenium. Experience for automating service-based solutions is an advantage.
- Experience with continues integration / continues deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and integrating automated tests.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman.
- Experience in creating SQL queries for backend testing and data validation.
- Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with EasyBI for advanced reporting and data analysis
Skills Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of Juvare's products is highly desirable.
- Experience in a Professional Services environment is a plus.
- Understanding of emergency management domains and fundamentals is beneficial.
