In this position, you will lead the application design and engineering of renewables projects. This role has the flexibility of a work-from-home option up to three days a week. Our teams work together to ensure our chosen work schedules enable our creativity and productivity as we serve the needs of our customers.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Prepare and maintain engineering plans and schedules
- Design, simulate, and test renewable power control applications for solar, battery, and wind generation assets
- Process electronic databases with industry standard communication protocols and hardwired I/O signals
- Support customer Factory Acceptance Tests
- Support site commissioning and Site Acceptance Tests
- Initiate requisitions for project purchases and manage subcontractors
- Manage the design, test, and shipment(s) of project hardware
- Provide suggestions for improvements of products or processes
- Manage time effectively to meet schedule/commitments
- Develop and maintain customer relationships
- Monitor project financial performance

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, technical discipline, or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years' of power generation control system applications or SCADA experience
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Experience in renewable power sector
- Previous client facing experience
- Previous experience with Emerson's Ovation software and hardware products
