What will you be doing?
As an experienced Carrier Sales Representative, you will use your industry experience to develop, maintain, and grow relationships between carriers and MoLo Solutions. As a proven seller with previous third-party logistics experience, you will actively source new carrier capacity and maintain relationships with accounts you develop. In this role, you will be strategic in your efforts to cover MoLo's freight with consistent carrier relationships and uphold our commitment to service. You are the main contact for carrier interactions allowing you to directly influence your portfolio of accounts every day.
Main Responsibilities:

  • Prospect new carriers through lead generation, research, and cold calling
  • Qualify and negotiate with carriers to obtain new business and strategically align your portfolio of carriers with our customer's freight
  • Build strong relationships with trucking company key contacts including dispatchers and drivers
  • Proactively identify issues and resolve problems to uphold our commitment to service
  • Ensure shipment details are accurately communicated to drivers and tracked in our transportation management system
  • Drive department initiatives and mentor teammates
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with customer operations, account management, and customer sales

Requirements
What we're looking for:

  • 1 year of third-party logistics experience is required
  • Proven track record of building, maintaining, and growing carrier relationships
  • Self-motivated individual with proven issue resolution skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet performance metrics
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to multitask
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to align growth initiatives with industry leading service levels
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
