Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Plumber Helper. In this role, you will provide assistance and support to our Service Experts HVAC and Plumbing team in various plumbing tasks and projects. Your main responsibilities will include assisting plumbers with installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plumbing systems. The ideal candidate should possess basic knowledge of plumbing systems, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:Assist licensed plumbers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters.Carry tools, equipment, and supplies to and from work areas.Prepare job sites by setting up necessary tools and materials.Dig trenches, excavate ditches, and create access points as required for plumbing installations or repairs.Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using appropriate tools and techniques.Assist in the assembly and installation of plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, toilets, showers, and water heaters.Connect pipes using fittings, soldering, welding, or other approved methods.Inspect plumbing systems and identify any defects or issues.Assist in troubleshooting plumbing problems and propose appropriate solutions.Clean up job sites and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.Follow all safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in a similar plumbing or construction role is preferred but not required.Basic knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.Good communication and teamwork skills.Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills.Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.Valid driver's license is preferred.
Working Conditions:This position requires physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks.Work may be performed indoors or outdoors, depending on the project.Exposure to various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and humidity.May be required to work in confined spaces or at heights.Some projects may involve exposure to hazardous materials or chemicals.
