Crisis Management Leader
The Crisis Management Leader is responsible for leading the company's crisis management activities while managing the crisis support team. This role will direct the organizational response across all levels of the organization that are involved in crisis remediation, from assessment through resolution. This role will also embed a culture of continuous improvement and root cause remediation through after action reviews to avoid repeat events and improve overall crisis management response.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Ensure the business and operations are engaged and active in all levels of the cross-functional crisis management response.
  • Partner with other company response teams to prioritize incidents according to their urgency and impact on the business and operations.
  • Lead the organizational response to crisis in partnership with subject matter experts, identify the cause, and initiate the crisis management process.
  • Notify response teams of a crisis according to protocols; gather stakeholders as required by the event; manage operational protocols; and facilitate communication between crisis management stakeholders.
  • Lead the collaboration with company response teams so all company policies, protocols, and routines are followed.

  • 8+years of experience in crisis management and/or a command center environment

  • 10+years of experience in crisis management and/or a command center environment
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Financial Services experience
  • Managerial/team lead experience
  • Strong leadership, decision-making and communication skills, particularly under stress
  • Attention to Detail; Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent oral and written skills
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to support 24 x 7 monitoring on a rotating basis; synthesize threat notifications and internal/external events to provide easily understood, concise reporting on threats and opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date on industry standards and technologies related to incident management

Anticipated Posting End Date:

Base Pay Range: $199,000/yr. - $253,000/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
