Christ the King Catholic High School is seeking an enthusiastic Chemistry teacher at our college-preparatory Catholic high school. This teacher would teach college-preparatory (CP) Chemistry and Honors Chemistry for 10th grade students.

Job responsibilities include participating in school-wide professional development, writing lesson plans, collaborating with other faculty members, and other school-related duties.

The teacher should have a passion for and love of both Chemistry and the Catholic faith.

Undergraduate degree in Chemistry or Science related field, Master's degree preferred but not required.

  • State teaching certification recommended. If the candidate does not have
state teaching certification, the candidate must meet diocesan standards for assignment.

  • A lived experience of the Catholic Faith in worship, beliefs, and lifestyle is an
important foundational background.

  • Candidate is expected to prepare collegepreparatory lesson plans, collaborate
with coworkers, communicate with students and parents on classroom-related
issues, and grade instructional material promptly.
