This is a full-time, exempt level position.

Position Summary:Trains and develops process staff, optimize yields, moistures, capacity and product quality in accordance with budgetary parametersDevelops and supervises capital improvement projects to be complete within scope, on time and budgetMaintains records in accordance with established ADM policies and proceduresAssists external departments as business needs ariseFollows the Performance Excellence system to achieve established goals for all production related performance indicatorsProactively seeks and supports the plant goals and vision in accordance with ADM Milling's strategic visionBases all decisions, perform acts and personify self in the best interest on the companyResponsibilitiesOverall responsibility for the efficient operation and maintenance of multiple flour milling units for maximum yield and productivityModels and reinforces all safety practicesTrains employees and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Identifies reports, and achieves the highest standards in sanitation, safety recognition & practices, quality behaviors and food defense practicesMaximizes plant capacities and yield KPI'sProactively engages in employee development, team building, and the continuous improvement of methods, processes and systemsManages three white flour milling units and two standalone whole wheat milling unitsCoordinates production schedules of department and productsProactively leads and supports operational excellence initiativesProvides technical knowledge for processes and equipment to obtain performancePlans, initiates and puts into operation, plant capital improvements on time and on budgetFacilitates and ensures adherence to safety laws, regulations, rules and sound practicesWorks with location management on the continued development and implementation of Health & Safety programs, policies and proceduresCoordinates and participates in audits, prioritizing and tracking completion of findingsEnsures that unsafe behavior and conditions are correctedInvestigates incidents (root cause analysis), incident trends and related preventative measuresMaintains the necessary health, safety & environmental records and documentationPerforms safety audits and sets the example for safety Ensures the facility maintains world class sanitation standardsCommunicates food safety/sanitation/quality programs to plant supervisors and hourly employeesPrepares the facility for, and participates in, regulatory/third party/customer/company auditsJob Requirements:Strongly prefer degree in a related field of Engineering, Milling Science and or minimum of five years of hands-on production supervisory experienceRequire excellent command of the following: leadership, problem solving, self-motivation, organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel and Outlook)Must have confident and courteous mannerMust have established leadership skillsMust have a strong commitment to employee safetyMust be able to hear and speak clearly, read, comprehend and communicate orally and in writingThorough working knowledge of all equipment, systems, processes and methods regarding ADM milling units. Must be highly organized, goal drivenPosition requires standing and walking for long periods, climbing stairs and ladders, working with tools, working within close-confined spaces, and working within extreme temperaturesExcited about this role but don't meet every requirement listed?
