Summary:

The House Attendant Position is responsible for supporting housekeeping staff in keeping the hotel up to an exceptional standard in cleanliness and maintenance by performing the following essential functions.HOTEL VALUES:

Essential Functions:

Supply clean linen in the closet on assigned floors.
Supply clean linen to the Room Attendants per request.
Remove soiled linen from the floors to the linen room.
Remove soiled linen from the Room Attendants carts.
Sort soiled linen and put it in the laundry cart to be sent to the laundry.
Assist in monthly inventory of linen.
Remove trash and debris from the floors and take them to the compactor.
Empty Room Attendants garbage from carts.
Replenish guest room supplies in closets.
Maintain cleanliness and presentation of hallways.
Follow job training program and daily checklist for daily and project work. Performs other related duties as requested by the Executive HousekeeperEducation and Experience: Prior housekeeping housemen experience a plusLanguage Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos, ability to write simple correspondence, ability o effectively present one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other staff members of the organization and hospitality community.Tools and Equipment: Must be able to operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, carpet shampoo machines, and floor machines.Working Environment: The team member will be required to spend a majority of their time on their feet.Physical Demands: Able to stand for 8 hours.
Able to bend and kneel for low area cleaning.
Able to lift 50 pounds.
Able to push a cart weighing 75 pounds.
Able to communicate with other departments on the Radio and by phone.
Must be able to work independently.
