In your role, you will play a key part in making a significant difference in the communities we serve, embodying our mission every single day.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:

• Look for opportunities to welcome, engage, assist, and express gratitude to customers. Maintain a warm and enthusiastic customer service environment with a focus on customer care.
• Take orders, address inquiries, and engage in suggestive selling.
• Handle, stock, present, organize, and rotate products in fresh food displays.
• Prepare menu items following recipes, food safety protocols, and specific cooking times.
• Deal with frozen products.
• Inspect all items for quality and freshness.
• Organize product displays, including pricing, descriptions, coding, and COOL information.
• Keep department equipment clean and well-maintained.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the department by washing equipment, tables, wrapping stations, disposing of trash and paper, mopping floors, cleaning display counters, etc.
• Receive inventory, stock shelves, confirm receipt of ordered goods, and place orders as necessary.
• Adhere to strict hygiene standards and document as required.
• Perform any other assigned duties as needed.
• Understand and adhere to all food safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements:

• Ability to:
• Work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7 operation setup.
• Effectively communicate with customers to receive orders and demonstrate good customer service skills.
• Conduct visual inspections, read and follow instructions, log information accurately, etc.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations and handle weights and measures.
• Stay mentally alert while dealing with potential hazards related to procedures, equipment, and work environment.
• Complete training and meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Adhere to personal protective equipment requirements.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and food products safely.
• Stay on your feet, move quickly, bend, lift weights, reach, push and pull objects, work around cold and hot environments, and meet job duties efficiently and accurately.

Additional Requirements:

• Food Handlers Certification (As per State Regulations).

• Cash Register
