For over 45 years, ISA Associates has been advancing evidence-based digital health solutions and addressing critical health issues among high-need populations through its dedicated research team. We currently have an NIH-funded portfolio of research and development projects aimed at reducing health disparities across various conditions (e.g., cancer, diabetes, opioid abuse, hypertension, stress) among diverse populations (e.g., African Americans, Latine, rural working adults). Our focus is on identifying behavioral factors that drive prevention and disease management and then developing engaging digital interventions that apply proven health behavior change principles. Our solutions undergo rigorous testing, with results published in leading journals, shaping health policies and sparking meaningful improvements in health systems. At ISA Associates, you will collaborate with top researchers to create cutting-edge digital health solutions that improve lives.

Under the supervision of our Principal Investigators, your role will involve conducting literature searches, preparing IRB materials, developing intervention content, managing technology development teams, overseeing recruitment and retention of study participants, analyzing data, and authoring research articles. Through ongoing collaboration and mentoring from our entire research team, you will ultimately develop your own line of research, successfully executing all phases of grant support.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must hold a doctoral degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g., psychology, public health). This role requires strong organizational skills, close attention to detail, self-motivation, and the capability to multitask effectively while working independently. Candidates must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication abilities through prior presentations and publications.

We seek individuals with experience in developing interventions and technology-driven health solutions, such as mobile apps, interactive videos, digital gaming, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and remote sensing technologies. Our ideal candidate possesses a proven track record in designing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based interventions focused on health promotion and disease prevention. A strong commitment to addressing health disparities among racial/ethnic minority communities and other underserved populations is highly valued. Join us in innovating to make a significant impact on public health through cutting-edge research and community engagement.

We offer a competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and years of experience. Additionally, ISA Associates provides an extensive benefits package that includes comprehensive medical and dental coverage, 401(k) with employer matching, and a generous paid leave policy.
