Information about our Inpatient Physical Rehab Unit:

  • Interdisciplinary collaboration with family, occupational therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Case Management, and Physicians
  • 35-Bed Inpatient Physical Rehab Unit
  • Nurse to patient ratios based on acuity

Job Summary and QualificationsWhat will you do in this role:
  • The RN Staff Nurse will be part of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Interdisciplinary team, and provide high-quality, evidenced based, patient centered care while enjoying a 1:6 nurse/patient ratio.
  • Work closely with the Medical Director, Hospitalist and therapy team, the ideal candidate will display exceptional clinical skills while providing compassionate patient care, promote teamwork and accountability, and model a commitment to HCA's mission/vision/values of "Above all else, we are committed to the care and improvement of human life."
  • Offer 24-hour inpatient therapeutic care to patients recovering from several types of conditions and injuries, including amputation, spinal cord injuries and multiple sclerosis.

What qualifications are required:

  • Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program (required)
  • BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited school of Nursing (preferred)
  • Current licensure as an RN in the state of Virginia or current multi-state compact RN license with eligibility to practice in VA is required.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider (required)
