What You Will Do

  • Work with business teams and technical leadership teams to understand the requirements.
  • Work on enhancement and new development projects.
  • Analyze, design, provide solutions, code, test, QA support and implementation.
  • Review, analyze and modify system requirements for tasks including but not limited to coding, testing, debugging.
  • Consult with users to identify current operating procedures and clarify system objectives.
  • Prepare technical documentation.
  • Criteria coding for client
  • Participate the spring-planning sessions and help Technical Product Owners to plan the sprint(s)
  • Ownership and resolution driven attitude

Skills and Experience You Will Need

Required:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Pega Development (Pega Workflow, Pega Integrations, Pega Support etc.) with Pega CSSA certification. Experience with Pega 8.4 and versions above.
  • Understanding of object-oriented design/implementation.
  • Understanding of database concepts and comfortable writing SQL statements for analysis.
  • Understanding of App Server Tomcat, Unix/Linux Server.
  • Understanding of Pega Survey framework.
  • Ability to manage development individually, multi-tasking, work with cross business teams/IT areas.
  • Ability to look at big picture without losing sight of details.
  • Understanding of IT, and release/delivery using CICD pipelines.
  • Ability to provide On-call Support for customer issues. Perform triage on issues and identify root cause, provide solution.

Desired:

  • Preferred working knowledge with REST services.
  • Healthcare/PBM experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift to 15 lbs., as needed
  • Must be able to work on-site (corporate/client offices), as needed (not applicable for 100% remote roles)
  • Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.
  • Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment.
