Summary

You will serve as a RESEARCH MICROBIOLOGIST (ENTERIC DISEASE/ PROGRAM MANAGER) in the Enterics Diseases Department (EDD) of NAVMEDRSCHCEN SILVER SPRING MD.



Duties
  • You will serve as the Head of Enterics Diseases Department (EDD).
  • You will have oversight and direction of pre-clinical and clinical development of prophylaxis and therapeutic countermeasures.
  • You will serve as Program Manager with expertise in bacterial infection research and antimicrobial countermeasure development.
  • You will provide program guidance and leadership in the study of therapeutics, prophylaxis, diagnostics, and pathogenesis of infections caused by bacteria.
  • You will manage personnel and operational budgets, conduct grant writing and procurement
    from DoD and non-DoD funding sources.
  • You will supervise and perform evaluations of a team of senior scientists working in complex investigative techniques.
