As a Payroll Operations Manager US & Canada, you will oversee all aspects of payroll operations, ensuring precision, effectiveness, and adherence to applicable regulations. Leading a team of payroll professionals, you will establish and execute payroll policies and procedures, collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline processes, and foster continuous improvement.

Key objectives include:

  • Lead payroll operations including ADP payroll BAU process deployment to drive efficiencies and enhancements.
  • Direct payroll operations team and ensure tasks are completed to meet company objectives.
  • Share knowledge within the Takeda Payroll Team through regular communication.
  • Take charge of accurate and punctual payroll processing for all Takeda employees in the US, PR, and Canada.
  • Monitor various payroll transactions to ensure precise payment and recording for expat employees.
  • Manage service delivery and maintain internal controls related to payroll practices.
  • Develop, implement, and update payroll procedures to comply with corporate policies and regulations.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements to boost efficiency and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments within People Solutions team to deliver quality services.
  • Stay updated on payroll regulations and best practices, ensuring compliance.
  • Oversee relationships with payroll service providers and external partners.
  • Analyze payroll reports and metrics to track performance and trends.
  • Handle special payroll projects and initiatives as assigned.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required; minimum 7 years of payroll experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Preferred Certified Payroll Professional (CPP), although not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in process analysis, improvement, and fostering a culture of continuous enhancement.

Takeda Compensation and Benefits Summary:

Recognizing that compensation is a crucial consideration in your career progression, we are committed to fair pay practices for all employees and aim for increased transparency in our compensation strategies. For the location of Exton, PA, the U.S. Base Salary Range is between $108,000 and $170,500 per annum. The actual salary offer will take into account various factors such as individual qualifications, relevant experience, specialized skills, education level, certifications, and job location. Eligible employees may access short-term and long-term incentives, medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, disability coverage, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off for volunteering, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. Additionally, employees may receive sick time and vacation days.
