Job Description Job Description: BAE Systems - RF Capability Group (Huntsville, AL) is seeking a strong Senior RF/Microwave Engineer with experience designing Microwave hardware modules. This position requires knowledge and experience designing wideband microwave modules, including receiver front ends, tuners, up/down converters, and/or switch matrices. Candidates are expected to support all phases of development from early-stage architecture reviews through production.Design leading-edge hardware modules with a focus on small size, low noise, wide bandwidth and/or high linearityAssist in root cause and corrective action investigationsGenerate necessary drawings and documentationSupport proposal and report generationMentor junior engineersRequired Education, Experience, & Skills US citizen with the ability to obtain Secret clearanceBachelor's degree in Engineering or Scientific field and 4+ years related experience2+ years relevant design experience with specialization in RF, microwave, or millimeter-wave engineeringFluent with Keysight ADS (preferred) or equivalent softwareStrong communication and writing skillsUnderstands and enjoys the challenges of a demanding "mission critical" environmentDependable and highly motivatedAble to multitask effectivelyAbility to work across company's technical and non-technical functional disciplinesAble to travel and provide technical support to subcontractors and customersCreative problem solverStrong technical leadership and an effective team playerEnjoys learning new things and gaining new skillsPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills Experience designing tuner modules and/or frequency converters; mixers, phase lock loopsFamiliarity with one or more of the following: Keysight ADS, Ansys HFSS, Sonnet, Microwave OfficePCB design and layout (Cadence preferably)Conversant with power supply design techniquesMaster's degree in engineering or scientific field preferred, but not required.Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $ $142600

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
