The clinicians and staff at Evernorth Workplace Care prioritize quality interactions with patients, delivering preventive care services and health enhancement opportunities whenever feasible. When specialized care is needed, our clinicians refer patients to reputable providers like Cigna Centers of Excellence, Cigna Care Network physicians, or other trusted networks. Through a combination of clinical expertise and compassionate care, our clinicians provide comprehensive services including primary care, acute episodic treatment, screening, coaching, and preventive care, ultimately leading to improved health outcomes.

Position Summary:
This Physician specializing in Family Practice will be employed at Evernorth Workplace Care's clinic in Kissimmee, FL, serving adults and children aged 8 and above. This role presents an exciting opportunity to focus on quality-driven patient care based on evidence-based guidelines, and to establish wellness programs within an employer-based environment. There are no on-call duties, night shifts, or weekend hours. The emphasis is on providing quality care and addressing gaps in care, with an average of 2-3 patients seen per hour. Minimal insurance paperwork is required, and competitive compensation is offered, including excellent Cigna benefits such as medical, dental, 401K, CME time and allowance, generous PTO, and potential yearly performance bonuses.
The practice is remotely supported by the Evernorth Workplace Care Regional Operations Director and Chief Medical Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering exceptional care to Evernorth Workplace Care patients in an outpatient clinical setting
- Efficaciously coordinating the business, operational, support, and clinical aspects to create a unified team
- Independently practicing utilizing cutting-edge Electronic Health Records and e-prescribing systems
- Using creativity to develop wellness programs
- Serving as the collaborative physician for onsite NP, if applicable
Required Skills:
- MD or DO Degree required
- Board Certification in Family Medicine
- Active and unrestricted medical license, BLS, and DEA required
- Proficiency in MS Office Products (Word/Excel) and Electronic Health Records systems (Epic is a plus)
- Strong focus on patient bedside manner and clinical skills
- FL Physician Dispensing license preferred
- Spanish fluency is advantageous
If remote work is part of the arrangement, a stable internet connection with minimum speeds of 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload is necessary.
