Overview

The Field Sales Consultant self-generates sales leads and presents in-home presentations on our solar products and services for potential customers. Their priority is to make a genuine human connection with the potential customers with the intent to qualify and vet solar as a viable energy solution for their home and families. Responsibilities/The Impact

Develop effective self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments with potential customersProvide an industry leading customer sales experience from initial contact through installation and after the customer's system is turned onConduct in-home sales presentations for potential customers and evaluate customers' knowledge and needs, building productive long lasting relationshipsHandle the pipeline of activity from prospect to install by following up with all leads and in-home consultationsAccurately disposition and report on outcomes via our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) toolMeet minimum required sales targets as set by sales leadership

Qualifications/How You Will Be Successful

Minimum of 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience, with in-home sales experience preferredMust be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver's license, and maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background checkExcellent communication and teamwork skills needed to partner cross-functionally when addressing customer needsWillingness to spend time traveling within local market, depending on business needs and sales modelIntermediate comfort level with technology, utilizing an IPAD/computer and multiple software applications. (experience with a CRM is a plus)

It assumes that the successful candidate will be located in markets within the United States that warrant the compensation listed. The starting salary for this opportunity is: $20,000

Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short and long term incentives, and program-specific awards. Sunrun provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
