The Clarkson College General Education Department is seeking an open-rank, full-time psychology faculty member who is passionate about facilitating student learning through effective teaching strategies grounded in evidence-based practice in education.


This position will be responsible for developing and teaching a range of undergraduate psychology courses as part of the Bachelor of Science in Psychology program and General Education Department.

Teaching responsibilities include in-person and online course delivery, student mentoring, and service to the community and profession.

The faculty member will be an integral part of the interprofessional General Education Department and contribute to the development and improvement of the psychology program curriculum while maintaining command of discipline by participating in professional growth activities.

The full-time faculty member will also demonstrate commitment to the Clarkson College mission and values to support student success.

Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in psychology required.
Minimum of two (2) years' experience with curriculum development required.

Strong oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate as part of a team with diverse constituents required.


Preferred Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in psychology from an APA-accredited doctoral program preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years' experience as faculty member in higher education preferred.
