As a Staff Software Engineer (UI/Frontend) on Teamfight Tactics monetization team, you will work on a multi-disciplinary team to help build and ship new features and cosmetic content to surprise and delight our players. This role reports to an Engineering Manager on the Teamfight Tactics team.

Responsibilities:Wear multiple hats as you own and lead, and contribute as an IC, on high-impact, player-facing feature development projects.Ensure the team is adhering to engineering excellence, including: system design, code quality (performance, scalability, modularity, security, and so on), documentation, and live operations. Mentor and level up everyone around you.Take full ownership of the product spaces you operate in. Contribute to technical strategies for short and long term. Influence and drive alignment between other engineering and production leadership. Build UI screens and features using both Web-based frontend frameworks and Riot's proprietary engine. Work within a complex ecosystem of platform services teams to define and consume APIs and SDKs.Collaborate with various disciplines, including UI/UX designers, game designers, artists to design and implement rich UIs features. Build tooling to help create and launch new cosmetic content sustainably to our players. Join the on-call LiveOps rotation to support our live game services.Required Qualifications6+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years leading and building rich, performant, secure user-facing applications.Expertise in building UI using either Javascript, CSS and web frameworks (such as Ember or a similar framework), or C++/C# within game engines.Willingness to invest in growth in both web frameworks and C++ (in-engine) is required. Desired QualificationsPrior UI development experience in a game engine.Experience working on live Game as a Service.Full stack experience, able to flex into services in Java or Go.For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and decision-making that prioritizes the delight of players.
