The Role

A Cook is responsible for the food preparation, execution, and delivery of safely handled food to the customer facing employees for service.

Responsibilities:

A Cook is accountable for food preparation, execution, and safe delivery to customer facing employees.

  • Must maintain a friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor consistently.
  • Timely reporting for scheduled events and assigned areas.
  • Complete opening and closing duties efficiently.
  • Adhere to prep lists, timelines, and correct recipes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
  • Extensive knowledge of menus, including specials.
  • Effective communication with supervisors, team members, and management.
  • Collaborate with associates and other service departments.
  • Attention to detail to exceed expectations.
  • Ensure a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.
  • Flexible schedule to meet service demands.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent; culinary arts degree or certificate preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in fast-paced food service environments.
  • Proactive, organized, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Adherence to sanitation procedures and ability to work under pressure.
  • Punctual, dependable, and able to work well with others.
  • Physical ability to handle kitchen tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting.
  • Ability to follow safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
