Job Description

AECOM is actively seeking an experienced Biologist to join our Environmental Planning Group in Boulder, Colorado.

In this role you'll have the opportunity to:

prepare biological resources sections and reports related to National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Endangered Species Act (ESA) compliance; lead the preparation of and review biological assessments, biological evaluations, and other biology-related reports; and mentor junior staff on a variety of projects related to rivers and fish.


Other responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Proposes appropriate analytical methods and techniques. Assists in providing advice and consulting services within scope of scientific knowledge.

Draws conclusions and makes recommendations based on analysis.

Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.


Works independently with minimal supervision.
