Lake Houston Wilderness Park:
Seasonal Naturalist The Houston Parks and Recreation Department has one opening for a seasonal 6-month position at Lake Houston Wilderness Park with a start date in June or July, 2024.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Park Naturalist in leading and creating programming at the Nature Center.
A special project will be assigned Assist with animal care and handling Assist with camps, programs, and other outdoor recreation programs Assist with all aspects of park operations, grounds maintenance, and facility maintenance Requirements:
Recent graduate or a college junior or senior interested in a full time 6-month position Must be able to work a 40-hour work week including weekends and holidays Have a strong interest in the parks, conservation, or animal care fields Individuals must be detail oriented, organized, motivated and able to work with minimal supervision Housing is provided, and the pay is $13.
50/hour-
