Summary

This position is located in Palmer, Alaska, USDA/Rural Development (RD). The incumbent has responsibility for making and servicing loans/grants for selected loans and grants for rural facilities, utilities, and/or businesses.

Remote/Virtual: No

The selectee will report to USDA office located in Palmer, Alaska.



Duties
  • Reviews and analyzes preapplications, applications and all supporting documents to determine loan or grant eligibility.
  • Analyzes financial and credit data documents to make sound eligibility, feasibility, and credit-worthiness determinations.
  • Prepares written loan/grant recommendations.
  • Conducts evaluation reviews of State-wide performance to determine the effectiveness of the Community and/or Business Programs services provided.
  • Prepares written loan approval determinations or recommendations for loan approval and submits to approving official as appropriate.
  • Develops outreach and marketing strategic plans.
