Department/Unit Summary-
In the Centralized Telemetry Unit you will :
- Performs continual surveillance of multiple monitors.
- Identifies significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately. Identifies and corrects for artifacts
- Reports abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
- Tests equipment for proper working order. Reports equipment problems to supervisor.
- Adherence to all core measure initiatives, patient safety goals, and NQF Safe Practices.
Qualifications and requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One year of experience preferred
