This position is a vital point of contact for patients entering Hudson Hospital. The position facilitates the process of scheduling appointments and has a responsibility for accurate collection of current financial and demographic information. This position directly impacts revenue collection for the hospital. This position provides customer service to patients, family members, and visitors. This position is responsible for a variety of clerical functions including pre-authorization, insurance verification, scanning of documents, monitoring work queues, communication with other departments and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have computer experience and be competent with Microsoft Office software products.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  • Previous computerized patient registration, scheduling, or admitting experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology is preferred.
