No Local (50 mile radius)

•Location: OhioHealth Grant Methodist Hospital

•Title: Med Surg Ortho RN must read and interpret tele

•Length: 13 weeks

•Shift: night shift, 7p - 7a, 36 hours per week, every other weekend and every other holiday requirement.

No call requirements, every third weekend, 1 summer/1 winter holiday, VERY FLEXIBLE WITH SCHEDULE

Minimum qualifications:

•1.5 years of MS/Tele nursing experience

•Travel experience preferred

•Must be able to read and interpret tele

•Must hold BLS certifications.

About the unit:

MS Tele unit, nursing ratios 5:1, can flex to 6:1 pending staffing (this rarely happens), RN draws labs,
COVID patients on unit (RN provides primary care, ratio 3:1, rotation between staff to prevent burnout
Most surgical patients (Ortho, GYN, Spine, Urology etc.), ED patients (ex: DM, COPD, Headache, etc.)

Travelers are first to float
Return Staff Policy : If an RN has worked at an OhioHealth facility as staff they need to be gone 366 days prior to being considered as a traveler. PRN at OhioHealth cannot accept a travel position and work both
For travelers, more than one call off is grounds for termination. NCNS is grounds for immediate termination as well.
