Summary

This position is located in the Financial Planning Division, Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Office of the Executive Director Bureau of Diplomatic Security. You will serve as a Supervisory Budget Analyst who manages staff and performance of the full range of budget and financial management functions throughout the lifecycle, i.e., budget formulation and execution, internal accounting processes, reporting, and management and control systems for the Department's overseas security platform



Duties
  • Oversees all aspects of Diplomatic Security's overseas budgets, provides authoritative budget and program assistance and instructions for the preparation of annual and multi-year budget estimates and supporting justification for annual budget request
  • Provides authoritative budget and financial management advice and assistance to senior Diplomatic Security (DS), departmental, and client agency officials on complex financial/budgetary issues and problems.
  • Oversees and develops the policy pertaining to requirements within the International Cooperative Administrative Support Services (ICASS) system; advocates for DS budget and financial management policies and procedures.
  • Sets performance goals, objectives, and standards and prepares formal evaluations of performance. Oversees the satisfactory accomplishment of all major office tasks and responsibilities.
