Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Full Time, Entry Level/Hourly, Systems Engineering Aide in Huntsville, AL.As an Engineering Aide / Project Aide, you will be a key technical member supporting the design, development, test, and manufacturer of spacecrafts, missiles, and ground support hardware.

The following are examples of duties that may be included:

  • Reviewing technical documents to identify and resolve discrepancies, perform requirements analysis, coordinate technical exchange meetings, develop presentation material, and handle peer reviews.
  • Generating engineering documentation, reports, drawings, flow charts, block diagrams, and schedules.
  • Performing as a Data Transfer Agent (DTA)
  • Facilitate Meetings / CVTC coordination
  • Manage Technical Impact Assessments / Peer Reviews and ensure team members are aware of design changes that could affect them.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in related discipline or equivalent experience, and/or technical training
Eligibility and willingness to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance - US Citizenship requiredDesired Skills:

  • Desire to continually learn, ambition to proactively address challenges, and aspiration to work in a diverse team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to adjust to a variety of audiences.
  • Good presentation skills; must be able to present clearly and concisely on a weekly basis to management and customers.
  • Proficient with using the Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Basic understanding of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) principles as well as the ability to interpret, generate, and present technical material and problem solve
