Key Responsibilities:


• Record entries from point of sale systems


• Record weekly payroll and tie out weekly payroll clearings


• Reconcile bank / credit cards / loan accounts


• Accounts Payable including recording of vendor invoices, debit memos and check payments


• Accounts Receivable including recording of customer invoices, credit memos, refunds and payments


• Utilize bank feed and download features and mapping/coding of accounts


• Generate weekly/monthly profit and loss reports and comparative reports for identifying irregularities


• Payroll Taxes and Sales Tax preparation functions

  • • Tie down payable / Prepaid and accrual entries on monthly close outs

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and knowledge of accounting principles
  • CPA preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years accounting experience
  • Public accounting experience preferred
  • Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of US GAAP (Specifically ASC 606)

  • Project prioritization and management
  • Time management and ability to meet accounting close deadlines
  • Effective oral and written communication
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to exercise discretion and judgment
