Pediatrix Medical Group seeks an OBGYN Hospitalist to join its practice at St. Joseph's Women's Hospital in Tampa, Florida.
St. Joseph's Women's Hospital is widely regarded as "the place in Tampa to have a baby" because of their comfortable labor and delivery suites, extensive childbirth education programs, Level-IV NICU and maternal/fetal program that offers the security expectant mothers need Responsibilities will include delivery attendance, OB triage, patient evaluation and management, surgical assists, fetal monitoring and ER coverage Over 8000 deliveries annually at the hospital, 900 delivered by the hospitalist team 4,200 annual OBED visits per year Team of 8 OBGYNs 24 hour shifts with double physician coverage, schedule of 7-8 shifts per month Supported by a Level-III NICU with board certified neonatologists available 24 hours a day
