Duties
  • Reviews command/installation budget guidance, DOD, Army regulations to extract legal, regulatory, program specific budget and resource information to provide NAFI and activity managers technical budget and resource guidance and assistance.
  • Ensures correct production of budgets and their execution. Reviews activity budgets for reasonableness and complementing actions; ensures all individual budgets are coordinated to support the NAFIs long range plans.
  • Reviews, analyzes financial reports to identify trends, working capital and the NAFI's financial position. Coordinates and consolidates individual activity, budgets, input to command budget estimate and cash budget into a single NAFI budget package.
  • Monitors use of resources, identifies imbalances and recommends corrective actions.
  • Performs the full range of review and analysis of budget and actual results to develop evaluative, quantitative data and methods to assess program financial performance in terms of requirements, goals and objectives..
