This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating system software, hardware, and peripherals.
• Provide functions necessary to ensure that end users have adequate hardware and software to accomplish their mission.
• Work with technical support personnel in resolving critical problems.
• Independent accomplishment of several stages in the automation of a work process, including participation in defining the problem, designing a solution, and system testing
• Uses judgment in adapting design approaches successfully used in precedents to the assigned projects.
• Perform system backups to insure expedient restoration of the database for the respective network equipment and end users have adequate hardware and software to accomplish their mission.
