Job Summary: As a professional nurse at Carolinas Medical Center, your role involves providing expert nursing care through precise assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation following established policies and procedures under the guidance of supervisors and managers. Physical Requirements: This role entails walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling. Candidates must be capable of lifting up to 35 pounds and have a good command of English. Essential senses and physical capabilities, along with critical thinking and quick responsiveness to patient conditions, are necessary. Physical Abilities Testing is mandatory, and additional department-specific requirements may apply.
Education, Experience, and Certifications: Candidates must be graduates from an accredited School of Nursing with a preference for a BSN degree. BLS certification is mandatory as per policy guidelines. A current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the relevant state is required. Depending on the department, additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be necessary.
