UH-60/AH-64/AH-1Z/UH-1Y, Powerplant/Engine – Back Shop Mechanic (T700/701C/D) performs and inspects aviation intermediate (AVIM) and depot maintenance on assigned engine systems.

Perform maintenance and repair of major assemblies and subassemblies of the T700/701C/D,
Inspect engine turbine blades to detect cracks, distortion, corrosion, burn-out, security, or breaks.
Perform blade blending and blade replacement in the cold sections of powerplants.
Replace or repair worn or damaged components, such as generators, alternators, fuel controls, fuel pumps, oil pumps, and engine-mounted gearboxes, and compressor bleed valves.
Ability to Perform hot section inspections and determine the replacement of hot section components (GG rotors, stators, fuel injectors, igniters, power turbine.)
Disassemble and inspect parts for wear, cracks, security, or other defects.
Perform engine removal, replacement, reinstallation, and quick-change assembly (QCA) maintenance tasks.
