Responsibilities:

  • Manage core accounting responsibilities including journal entry processing, ledger reconciliation and analysis, and generating regular and ad-hoc reports.
  • Review classification of expenses in the general ledger report and prepare necessary adjustments in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Implement process improvements/efficiencies; perform financial analysis
  • Communicate and work collaboratively with corporate departments and area operations and administration
  • Assist with various audit tasks, including providing support and/or documentation for internal and external audit and various ad-hoc reports as needed
  • Identify and help to implement process improvements/efficiencies within the accounting department
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in accounting or related field is required
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience
  • SAP experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong computer proficiency, specifically in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and accomplish all assignments timely, independently, and against aggressive deadlines
