Location:
Boca Raton, FL (REMOTE)
Duration: 12+Months Contract
Description:
- Hands-on expert with advanced features of Smartsheet including Data Shuttle and Dynamic View.
- Proficiency in creating workflows and other automations to monitor project status and/or enforce accountability and project deadlines.
- Maintain standard project management documentation and metrics with limited direction in Smartsheet.
- Work with business owners to gather project requirements and constraints related to trackers and reports in Smartsheet.
- Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout the project life cycle.
- Build relationships and nurture positive, collaborative working relationships with internal and external colleagues.
- Continually improve upon the project management process and Smartsheet administration and provide recommendations to management.
- Identify and drive opportunities to refine processes through the use of technology and elimination of non-value-added activities.
- Investigate and report pain points, identify root cause, determine the impact on the end-to-end process, and work with teams across Verizon to develop the best path for resolution.
- Gather data, determine appropriate metrics, and conduct analysis to ensure that established goals are met and process improvements are sustained.
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years of related experience Smartsheet functional background preferred.
- Expert knowledge of Smartsheet features such as conditional formatting, rows and hierarchy, cell linking, sorting and filtering, Automation Workflows, Update Requests, Forms, Data Shuttle, Dynamic View, Sharing/Export/Import sheets, formulas and calculations and Project Management Fundamentals, Control Center experience andSmartsheet Certification preferred.
- 2+ years program or project management experience.
- Experience working across multiple departments, teams, and time zones.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Sound judgment and effective prioritization skills.
- Working knowledge of Google sheets, MS Excel & Tableau.
- Proficient utilizing collaborative tools such as Slack and Google Suite
- Must have the ability to learn quickly, adapt to new situations and navigate ambiguity.
